3G auction closes; govt to earn over Rs 67700 cr

The auction of 3rd generation mobile airwaves…or 3G spectrum finally ended on Wednesday….and with it the govt has raked in a bounty far beyond its expectations at a whopping Rs 70000 cr.

NOW INDIA WILL GROW FURTHER ALTHOUGH 3G SERVICES ALREADY STARTED BY BSNL AND MTNL. THERE WILL BE A TOUGH COMPETITION AFTER DECEMBER BUT NO PRIVATE OPERATOR HAS PAN INDIA LICENCE AND IT IS A GOOD SIGN FOR PUBLIC SECTOR VENTURES :- BSNL AND MTNL.
